Medication Management

Our nursing team ensures that all residents receive their medications safely and on time. Pine Grove partners with a local pharmacy to fill prescriptions and provide over-the-counter medications. Medications are reviewed by the physician, nurse, and pharmacist every three months or as required.

Rehabilitation & Mobility

Maintaining mobility and independence is vital to a high quality of life. Our rehabilitation programs are designed to help residents regain strength, improve balance, and stay active. We partner with Extra-Mural Services to offer:

  • Assistance from our in-house rehabilitation staff, available four days a week.

  • Pine Grove has a “least restraint” best practice guideline. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence in movement for as long as possible. Restraints are only used after a special team conference is held. This is to ensure that any restriction of movement is done appropriately, monitored frequently, and removed as soon as possible.

  • Arrangements will be made to have a family member accompany the resident to appointments.

    Pine Grove brings a Dental Hygienist on site on a regular basis and is available to all residents as needed. All other outside appointments are the sole responsibility of the resident or family member. The resident is responsible for any costs associated with transportation, examinations or any professional staff required to accompany them.
